    Meet our staff:
      
       
       
    Luke Schoonover is our newest tech in the district. Luke comes from central NY and is quickly becoming a valuable asset to the tech dept.  
       
    Marc Friends joined the District Technology Team in March of 2019 and is the District Technology Coordinator, a civil service designation for his position of Network Administrator. Prior to his joining our team, Marc was employed by Erie 1 BOCES as a Senior and has worked in the district for a number of years as an Erie 1 employee as LAN Support. M. Friends
       
    Joe Duplechian is now in his 5th year as member of the technology team.  Joe worked for Erie 1 prior to joining Olean full time in the summer of 2020.  He has over 20 years of computer repair/security camera experience, running his own computer repair business in the Olean area.  His business also donates to multiple local causes.  Joe had been co-chair of Rally in the Valley and Olean City Cup Softball and leagues.  You can usually tell which desk is his by the multitude of knick-knacks and collectibles surrounding it!  Joe's two children, Oliviah and Mason are current students in our district.  J.     Ryan Topor is one of the Erie 1 technicians for the district.  He is in the district Thursdays and Fridays and is assigned to tasks district wide. Help tickets for all buildings will be addressed when he is in the district.
     
       
    David Chambers is another Erie 1 BOCES Technical Support Specialist.  With 23 years total experience, he has been with Erie 1 BOCES for over 16 years and prior to joining the Olean IT department he had spent time in several area school districts.  Dave graduated from St. Bonaventure University and enjoys spending his free time with family and traveling the world. 
     
       
    Mike Martel is the Director of Technology for the district and an Olean alumni.  Mike started as tech director in August of 2020 and had spent the previous 5 years as assistant principal at the high school.  Before becoming an administrator, he taught math, science and computer science at Hinsdale Central School.  A graduate of St. Bonaventure, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and two Master's degrees, one in Secondary Ed. and one in Educational Leadership.  Mike lives in the Olean area and his wife and three children have all attended Olean schools as well.  In his spare time, he runs a local men's amateur soccer club, Olean 1854 FC.
