By incorporating new-age technology lessons, while still maintaining elements of construction and wood working, students will develop a variety of skills that they will find useful as they navigate through the real-world.
On the surface, the curriculum will be presented as a technology program with the underlying objective to focus on enhancing student’s aptitudes and concentrating on the modern-day working skills that they should possess; skills like collaboration, problem solving, communication, leadership, creativity, and media literacy.
So, while studying course content and learning the material is important, a higher priority will be placed on developing autonomous individuals who can think critically and also be flexible so that they can work well with others.
